Moneybookers provides a low cost bureau style of payment processing service that combines merchant account and payment gateway into one easy to set up account:
- Which requirements to activate your Moneybookers Account?
Please make sure that you have the following information displayed on your website: Contact details, Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Return Policy. Moneybookers Merchant Services team will contact you to confirm your activation.
- How to switch on your Moneybookers payment gateway?
Once you have got your Moneybookers account activated you need to activate Moneybookers processing within Shopfitter.
To do this you need to log into the merchant tools section of your Moneybookers account and enter a secret word (different from your password), then log back into Shopfitter shop and complete the integration. Once you have done this you are ready to start processing using Moneybookers.
- What’s next?
In order to allow merchants an easy start with online payments, we have split our service into two levels. After the first verification, which you have already completed, you have easy and fast access to all Moneybookers payment services.
After a while and if your account reaches a certain level we will ask you to verify your status as a Moneybookers merchant in order to accept and withdraw unlimited funds. This process will include the submission of basic information.
- What is the 'basic information'?
Colour copy of your photo ID, (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card) both sides please
Address verification (Business bank account statement preferred or a recent utility bill, not older than 3 month)
Business explanation (URL, Soletrader status, Business activities)
Proof of business activity (Certificate of incorporation,) - not applicable for soletraders
Share ownership (inluding the percentage of the share and monetary value) and names of company directors - not applicable for soletraders
