Homepage product links

From E-commerce knowledge - Shopfitter

Adding more product links to the home page is simple but does require a bit of work with html code. Fortunately, this is only needs a copy and paste of the existing code.

• • Start by double clicking home in the left column in Shopfitter 4
  • Shut the Visual Designer by selecting "Cancel" at the bottom right corner
  • Scroll down until you find the following statement in the code (see figure 1):

Beginning of Product Section (has 2 products across page)

• • then find the end statement:

End of Product Section

• • Highlight all the code in between these two comment statements and then either right click and choose "Copy" or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+C
  • Next, deselect and place your mouse/cursor just before "End of Product Section" and press Enter or the return key
  • Then paste in the code you copied earlier, right click and select "Paste" or Ctrl+V (see Figure 2)
  • Repeat to add more as required, this will add two more product links each time you do it
  • Finally click "Save" at the bottom right of the window and then open the Visual Designer to edit the images and text as required
