If you are having problems with shopfitter4, please have a look at the Common Problems and Do's and Don'ts pages, and feel free to contact us on our help desk.

Q - A load of panels are greyed out, what's going wrong?

A - This is because the version of Shopfitter 4 you've been using is the public beta and it's license has expired. To remedy the problem uninstall your current version by using either the 'Add/Remove Programs' in the Windows Control Panel or through the Start Menu -> All Programs -> ShopFitter -> Shopfitter 4 -> Uninstall Shopfitter 4. This will leave your site data intact.

Once done, please log into your Shopfitter Admin account and find the Updates section on the lower half of the first page; click the 'Shopfitter 4 Setup link to download and install the updated software. Once you launch SF4 again 'all should be be well in the garden'.


Q - I've got an error message telling me the license has expired, what should I do?

A - this is the same issue as above, please follow the same procedure.


Q - How do get my web site live on the internet?

A - You need to upload your site to your web hosting server using the FTP module - visit the FTP page for help.
